Day 7 - Mindset and Financial Growth - Breaking the Cycle

💬 “Change your mindset, change your money story.”

Money isn’t just about numbers—it’s about mindset. If you’ve ever said, “I’m just not good with money,” or “People like me never get ahead,” I want you to pause and challenge that.

As a single mom, I had to unlearn so many limiting beliefs about money. I thought that I would struggle for a long time because I hadn’t worked for a while and bills were piling up—but now I know better. I had to remind myself that growth starts in the mind.

🧠 What Is a Growth Mindset Around Money?

It’s the belief that you can learn better money habits, grow your income, and build the life you desire—even if you’re starting small.

This doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect. It means acknowledging where you are and deciding to move forward with intention.

🌍 Break the Generational Cycle

Many of us weren’t taught how to budget, save, or invest. But you can change that for yourself — and for your children.

Start with one goal. Educate yourself. Speak positively about money around your kids. And celebrate every win, no matter how small. Recently I made less than £10 in profit on sales on Amazon but I felt inspired, I felt like celebrating and so I gave thanks!

📝 Your Action for Today:

  • Write down one financial goal
